PTSD - GENERATIONAL LEGACY
First, let me begin by saying that PTSD is based on a lie. We have all been lied to for years concerning this topic, and I can prove it!
PTSD is defined as a disorder in which a person has difficulty recovering after experiencing or witnessing a terrifying event.
It’s reported that this condition can last for months or years. It can occur in anyone, at any time, of any ethnicity, nationality, culture, at any age.
The first known diagnosis of PTSD was in 1980 when the American Psychiatric Association (APA) officially recognized it as a distinct mental health disorder.
Prior to their diagnosis, these symptoms were passed off as someone being “shell shocked” or having “war neurosis”, because this behavior was only primarily attributed to soldiers who had been in battle.
The APA defined PTSD as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
However, they do admit that the risk of exposure to trauma has always been a part of the human experience since man first became a species.
The key word in PTSD, is in the “S”, which psychiatrist say is STRESS.
Their findings suggest that the species called “man” has been stressed since the very beginning. Let’s take a look back and see for ourselves.
Man, first became, by way of creation from God, in the garden of Eden.
The Genesis account of Adam, the first in the species of humans, shows he lived in a beautiful and bountiful garden, with all the fruits and vegetables that a body could want. So far, no stress in sight.
Next it states that he didn’t have to worry about housing nor employment, God was handling all of that for him. That’s obviously a stress-free perk. Wouldn’t you say?
Then he was given a responsibility to name and identify others in his community, but the cavoite is, he was free to call them whatever he chose. That was also pretty eazy peezy.
So, to do a quick recap, Adam was given housing, employment, food, and community. None of these things brought stress into his life.
The only thing that was missing from his life was a meaningful relationship. And then God provided him with a mate.
We all know that relationships can be stressful. But there’s had none. In fact, they had a profound bond of unity and shared essence.
Adam inferred that Eve was his soul mate; “she is bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh”. She was him, except she had a womb. She was the reason they could become a family. What a beautiful love story.
Still there was no stress to be found… until.
Until that is, someone outside of their relationship, was given a voice inside their relationship. This is the first time we see a hater.
That’s the moment when stress came in. Pop goes the weasel!
But the Bible didn’t call what they experienced stress. Stress was a by-product of what took place, but not the culprit of it.
The culprit was Sin. Stress came because of Sin. Once they sinned, everything changed. Stress had now become their new norm.
So, what was that cataclysmic event called Sin, that not only affected them but also every generation for years to come?
The Sin was, that they allowed someone to convince them that God was a liar! Here is where the lie comes in.
News flash! the Liar told them a Lie, about God, and they believed it.
“Surely that couldn’t be God” “You believe God told you that? “ “How could a loving God allow such a thing?” “Hath God said!”
That was the Sin then, and it is still the Sin today.
What lies have you been told about God and believed? Selah!
Maybe someone told you that God isn’t real! Perhaps someone convinced you that he doesn’t care? God is nature. ALL LIES!
That single event set all of mankind on a collision course with their creator for generations to come. Until…
We are all still dealing with the Trauma from that event from back then.
Sin is still causing Stress in our lives even today!
One could say, namely me, that PTSD actually stands for Post Traumatic Sin Disorder a Generational Legacy.
Next time we’ll learn how to tell if you are symptomatic or not!
