TIME ZONES PT 4

This will be our last segment on Time Zones for now. But it is my hope and prayer that the principles that have been shared we will keep in our hearts and minds for years to come.

I believe that our awareness of Gods Timing is more than just interesting, it is essential.

Today we will observe How God Moves and Where to tune in to know/understand/discern His Movements in the Spiritual Time Zone.

Oftentimes, we hear people say that God moves mysteriously. That is a correct statement, but not a complete understanding.

When people use the phrase, “God moves in mysterious ways”, the intent behind this is that God is somehow erratic or non-comprehensible.

That line of thinking lacks understanding. To get a full understanding we must look at the etymology of the word mystery.  

The Greek word for mystery is Mysterion. It was incorrectly translated in English as unexplainable, which brought about confusion.

The original meaning was “secret rite” or “secret doctrine”.  It was derived from the root words Mys, which means “one who has been invited”, and from Myo, meaning “to close” or “to shut”.

Mys and Myo will help us to understand How God Moves and Where to tune into to perceive Gods Movements in the Spiritual Time Zone.

Let’s begin with Mys, which speaks of the secret council of God. A non-theological definition is a hidden or secret thing. When something is secret, it doesn’t mean that it cannot be known, it just means it must be revealed to be known. God invited us to know Him through Jesus.

Jesus already invited us into an intimate relationship; Come to me…

Gods Movements can be known, once they have been revealed to us.

As previously stated, as humans we tend to move by Time on a clock, tick tock tick tock tick tock. God moves by Timing on the metronome, back and then forth, back and then forth, back and then forth.

The earliest known methods of time keeping date by 4000 years ago when the Egyptians and Babylonians introduced the duodecimal system, which was based on the number 12. This is why we still have 12 months in a year, 24 hours in a day, and 60 minutes an hour, all divisible by 12.

It’s important to know that Time was invented to monitor work tasks. But seeking God should not be work, nor a task!

In the Genesis of life God established his system of Timing.

“As long as the Earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease” Genesis 8:22

Prior to clocks and timing mechanisms, humankind was more aligned with God Timing system when they used almanacs.

Gods Timing is Seasons. Mystery revealed!

Can you feel Gods metronome; Seedtime and then Harvest, Cold and then Heat, Sow and then Reap. Give and then Receive, Pray and then Trust, Help and then Partake, Follow and then Lead.  

All throughout the Bible God continually references Seasons.

Do you know what season you are in NOW?

Heartaches and troubles don’t last for minutes; they last for a season.

Whatever is happening in your life right NOW is for only a Season.

Seasons change and we should as well.

Even Daylight savings is based on Seasons. Timing tells the Time!

So how can we know what Season we are in?

By tuning into Gods Movements through Myo.

Myo is the secret place, the place where you are shut in, and you close the world out.

Myo is within you. You connect to Myo through stilling yourself.

Be still and know that He is God! That’s when you feel the metronome.

When you close your eyes and are in a meditative state you can hear the rhythm of your breathing. You will hear the vibrations from Heaven.

At times it can sound like a deep humming. It’s the vibration from the energy of God.

You can hear what is on the inside of you.

God is on the inside of you, as He has been in every human being since he blew His Spirit into all of humanity through Adam.

Tune into Gods Timing. Tune into Gods channel.

Breathe in and then out, in and then out. In and then out, in and then out.

Get into the unforced rhythms of His Grace.

When you hear the hum of Heaven say speak Lord I’m listening.
