TIME ZONES PT. 1

Much of the “time”, we are focused primarily on the Time.

Everyone everywhere seems to be consumed by it.

Society at large also puts a great emphasis on Time.

What Time is it? What Time do we have to be there? What Time is it coming?  What Time is the launch of the new movie, the new project, the new music, the new clothing line? Etc. TimeTimeTime

With the advent of better and newer technology, the significance of Time has been altered greatly, and has become even more impacting.

Many people spend endless time scrolling the news, social media, and other forms of AI which is leading to Brain Rot.

Everyone wants to know the latest update in time.

We feel we must know who has posted something in the last 10 seconds? What’s next? So, we keep scrolling every couple of seconds.

Are you familiar with “time blindness”? I wasn’t until I began studying for this message.

Time Blindness is caused by the constant feeling of stress and anxiety about time. It occurs when someone is obsessed over time.

Perhaps you are more familiar with a relative of it, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD.

Scientists say the core issue for individuals with ADHD is their struggle to accurately perceive, embrace, and accept the passage of time.

In all of life, there are Time Zones.

As a result of our very existence, we travel through Time Zones.

Some are familiar with Kronos Time Zones, which divides the world into 24 different segments with each one corresponding to a 15 degree of change in longitude.

That 15-degree change in longitude is equivalent to 60 minutes in time. With each 60 seconds we are moving… forward to a new place. Selah!

With each passing moment we encounter something new and different.

Thank God for Time Zones!

That means that after each 60 seconds of an experience, that experience has now become our past. It is old news; it is behind us.

Planes weren’t made to go backwards, and neither were we. Every time we go back, we are doing something that we were never created to do.

Besides Kronos Time Zones, we also have Emotional Time Zones that we go through as well. I’m sure all of us know about those.

The book of Ecclesiastes references a few; times when we weep, times when we laugh, times when we mourn, times when we dance, times when we love and times when we hate.

With each Time Zone we should still be moving forward!

Are you stuck in a past Time Zone? That’s not meant to be rhetorical, it was meant to be reflective. Remember, every 15 degrees we move!

In addition to Physical Time Zones there are also Spiritual Time Zones.

Kairos is in the Spiritual Time Zone. Kairos deals with Timing.

Kairos moments are the movements that cause time to change.

Picture the movements of a fine Swiss time piece, they are what cause time to move forward effortlessly. Smooth and flowing without stoppage.

If we get our timing down, then we won’t have to be worried about time.

The account of a young boy named David who was taking his brother’s lunch and got detoured into a fight that made him a king, had nothing to do with time and everything to do with timing.

A young recently widowed woman that was a migrant worker who met and married a rich land barren was not about time, but rather timing.

A young carpenter, who was executed for a crime he did not commit, knew the value of timing.

Getting that job, meeting that person, taking that call, visiting that place, or submitting that information wasn't about time.  It was about timing.

Sometimes it’s not where we are, but when we are.

The movements we make in the Spirit are what moves the Natural.

First Spirit then Natural. And God said, then He saw it.

I hope you are intrigued. Theres more I want to share next time.
