SEASONS OF TIME

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

King Solomon was sharing with us a very important life lesson he learned; everything has a Season, and every purpose will have its Time.

Time is about the moments. Moments with loved ones, moments to capture an event, moments to remember.

A time to laugh, a time to cry. A time to start and a time to end. A time to act and a time to sit still. We will have all sorts of times in our life.

But sometimes, a Time, is a Season, and not just a moment. Selah!

A time to plant, and a time to pull out. A time to stand, and a time submit. A time to fight, a time to make peace.

Our ability to recognize if we’re having a moment or if we’ve entered a season, will be critical.

Time and Seasons carry distinct and specific meanings.

Time is a specified moment. It is an indicator of the flow of events; it signifies a start, an end, or an intermission. Every action has a set time.

Seasons are transition portals. They require change; both physical & mental. Seasons require a shift. When was the last time you had to shift?

Seasons don’t only reflect Natural changes; they also reflect Spiritual ones too. All seasons are divinely orchestrated.

Knowing if that was just a moment, or if you entered a transition period, can be the difference between being redirected to a detour or being asked to stop to avoid a disaster. Been there, done that!

A moment is for reflection. Seasons are for transformation.

Do you need to reflect on this moment or make a change at this moment?  Was that event about paying attention or was it about paying a toll and transition to a new route?

Sometimes one can easily recognize a moment in time, but it requires a greater effort to know and understand the timing of the moment.

It’s vitally important to recognize the Season of Time that you are in.

Seasons are the alignment rhythm that was established during creation.

Times and seasons aren’t just natural markers; they also provide spiritual guidance. They tell us what God is doing or has done.

Time, Measured Moments is Kronos, but Timing, Opportune Moments like Seasons is Kairos.

One is temporary, the other is altering life. We must recognize the difference.

It’s also important to note that not all seasons are created equal.

Watching the Season is of greater value than watching the Clock.

Every season provides a sign. Are you seeing the signs of your season?

If you are uncertain, then pray and ask God to show you.
