Surely, we could all use that. Who couldn’t use a Grace Period?

A Grace Period is an allowed amount of time to complete the required action.

Oftentimes Gods Grace gets misinterpreted as Gods Mercy.

They do go hand in hand, but they are different.

Mercy is not getting something you deserve.

Grace is getting something you don’t deserve.

Gods Mercy is what keeps us from instant death and damnation.    

God’s Grace gives us time to correct our destructive behavior to avoid it.

Gods Mercy endures forever. God’s Grace gives us time to get right.

We need them both! Lord, thank you for Your Grace and Mercy.

Mercy provides Coverage, while Grace allows Time and Opportunity.

Grace is unmerited, but it is not unlimited. There is a Grace Period.

Grace is not getting what we deserve for our actions.

We were all destined to die in our sins from birth, but Jesus took our judgement and was tortured and executed on our behalf to shield us from taking the penalty which we duly deserved.

When Jesus died for us, He extended to us a Grace Period. (More Time)

But that Grace Period has an expiration; an allowed time to complete the required action. The Grace Period ends when we die.

The question is…Will we partake of God’s Grace before we die?

God has always given his people Grace.

When God had Noah build the Ark, he gave the people 120 years to change their ways. Their Grace Period ended, and flood waters came in.

  “And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.” Gen 6:3

God told Jeremiah to tell Judah to change their ways. They had 30 years before their Grace Period ended. Then came captivity into Babylon.

Our Grace Period will also expire one day.

2 Peter 3:9 says, do not think for a minute that God will forget. He is just giving us time to get it together. He does not want anyone to perish without an opportunity to change.

God is So Gracious.

He has given us, Grace on Grace on Grace on Grace on Grace on Grace!

God’s Grace was designed to do what nothing else can do; transform us!

First, let me share with you 5 types of Personal Grace that God has.

#1 Saving Grace: God's unearned Divine power that he uses to forgive sin, justify believers, and grant eternal life through Jesus Christ.

#2 Sanctifying Grace: God's Divine purification of a person to help them grow in holiness (Wholeness) to get closer to Him and turn away from S.I.N.- Separation Isolation and No-Compliance

#3 Strengthening Grace: God's Divine power given to us during difficult times to help believers stand firm and endure tests & trials.

#4 Sharing Grace: God's Divine provisions given to us to help meet the needs of others. When we give it also inspires others to give generously and joyfully to others.

#5 Serving Grace: God's specific Divine Spiritual Gifts and abilities imparted to believers so we can effectively serve Him and those in need of Supernatural Help. 

We need every type of Grace to live a triumphant life.

Hallelujah! Thank you, Lord, for giving us Grace on Grace on Grace!

But wait! God has given us even more Grace.

Like I said, He’s such a Gracious God!

Not only does God give us Personal Grace, but He also gives us Shareable Grace. What a Good Good Father, He is!

Here are 7 other Graces that we should share with others.

#6 Grace of Forgiveness We've been forgiven for everything we’ve ever done in the past, everything we do in the present, and everything we'll ever do in the future. And we should give others that same Grace.

#7 Grace of Acceptance God invited us into His family. He adopted us as His children, and because of that, we now have this Father-child relationship with Him. We should in turn also treat others like they are in the family of God, because they too are made in the Image of God.

#8 Grace of Presence God is present with us wherever we are, whomever we're with, and whatever we're doing. We need to be present and show up in the lives of others, like God does for us.

#9 Grace of Enablement God showing us Love in the form of Grace enables us to go on. Our acts of kindness will also enable others to go on.

#10 Grace of Freedom God has set us free from judgement. We should repay Him by not judging others. The Grace of Freedom loves unconditionally because God loves unconditionally.

#11 Grace of Completion God sees us for what we can be, not what we are. We should see others through Gods eyes, not our own judgements.

#12 Grace of Kindness God has been so very Kind to us. Pay it forward

The number 12 signifies completion.

We have a complete set of Grace types that we can use to live a triumphant life.

We’ve received Grace on Grace on Grace on Grace on Grace on Grace.

Or perhaps better said, Abounding Grace!
